In the winter, join the well prepared cross country skiing tracksdirectly behind the guesthouse. Having several ski areas close by is another huge advantage for a memorable holiday in theOlympia Region of Scharnitz-Seefeld.
And last but not least the area offers endless opportunities for snowshoe hikes and ski mountaineering excursions.

Our family has run the guesthouse for several generations and guests can now stay in newly renovated and comfortably furnished rooms and apartments for a truly relaxing stay. You also benefit from free WLAN throughout the premises.

Our Tyrol - Sauna

After a great day, relax in our new sauna area in a traditional Tyrolean style.

Our guests benefit from a traditional wooden sauna, an infrared cabin and a comfortable relaxation room with views across the surrounding mountains.

There is also a small outside area to cool down after your sauna session.

Available to our guests from the 2011/2012 winter season!

Summer holiday in the Karwendel, Tyrol

The beautiful village of Scharnitz at the entrance to the Karwendel nature reserve offers the perfect location for family walks as well as more demanding alpine hiking and climbing tours.
Mountain-bike lovers could not choose a better place to stay, too, as most of the alpine pastures and catered huts are accessible on two wheels and you can store your bike securely in our bike room.
On foot or on a bike
– getting away from it all is as easy as child’s play.
The power of water is ever-present as the Isar river sets off on its journey in the Scharnitz Hinterau valley.
And the Isar means more than tranquil spots to reflect or have a picnic; canoeists appreciate the thrills that the crystal clear mountain river with its long, gravelly riverbed nestling between ragged rocks has in store.
Recharge your batteries and refuel on energy – no place is better suited than Scharnitz with its impressive and unique natural landscape.
The nearby Karwendel lift offers the perfect opportunity to admire the exciting mountain scenery from a bird’s eye view.

A total of 240 km of well-prepared tracks (classic, skating) throughout the Olympic region are a dream come true for cross-country skiing enthusiasts.

The well-known and varied ski areas of the Seefeld Plateau and surroundings are suited for beginners as well as well-versed practitioners of this popular sport.
The free ski bus takes you stress-free to all of the slopes and you can leave your skis safely in our ski room.
